(Nicosia).- David Yatom Hay, Soft2Bet’s General Counsel, discusses the company’s recent acquisition of the Greek license and everything that comes with it for the new European market and the global expansion strategy.

Soft2Bet's focus on Greece: Licensing, partnerships and plans

You recently gained license approval in Greece. Can you tell us a bit about that and what it means for the company's ongoing expansion?

Soft2Bet has been making significant strides in expanding into regulated European markets. We were recently granted a B2B supplier license by the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC). This seven-year license allows us to provide gaming and betting platform services and our certified games to licensed B2C operators in Greece's regulated iGaming market. This license signifies our continued commitment to expanding into regulated markets, ensuring our growth, and strengthening our position as a leading gaming platform provider.

Are there any other approvals or expansions in the pipeline specifically related to Greece?

We have a lot going on in our latest licensed geography, Greece, where we are about to launch with elabet.gr. We aim to develop the momentum and see how our offerings perform in the Greek market.

How does the Greek market fit into your larger European strategy?

The Greek market is a pivotal part of our broader European strategy. It's a competitive but not yet oversaturated market, offering Soft2Bet a chance to showcase its gaming expertise. This license strengthens our B2B approach, enabling us to extend our advanced technological solutions to other operators in Greece.

Can you describe the process and challenges, if any, faced in acquiring the A1 License in Greece?

We have the privilege of closely collaborating with the Hellenic Gambling Commission, and we deeply value their commitment to assisting us in securing this license. Their efficient processes, combined with the expertise of our compliance team, have made our interactions seamless and allowed us to navigate the licensing process smoothly. We're excited about utilizing this license both for our own platform and to support other operators aiming to enter or expand in the Greek market.

Can you share more about the future plans of Soft2Bet, particularly in relation to your growth and expansion in Greece?

We aim to further our reach in the Greek market, continuously enhancing our platform with innovative features and technologies, particularly gamification, and strengthening our customization and localization capabilities to cater to Greek audiences with more and more precision. With our Greek license, we are poised for an exciting and successful journey in the Greek market, and we look forward to making a positive impact on the industry.

What sets you apart from other turnkey providers in the Greek market?

Soft2Bet's distinctiveness is rooted in our unwavering commitment to product excellence, exceptional design, and a unique player experience. We excel in gamification technology, presenting solutions no other provider on the market can offer. These unique qualities not only enhance our own operations but also provide an unparalleled edge to other operators who choose to collaborate with us in the Greek market.

What types of collaborations are you looking to foster in the Greek market?

We are eager to collaborate with both current and new operators in the Greek market. We aim to provide our technological package to those who share our vision of achieving great things and are searching for innovative solutions to elevate their businesses.
